Northstar Church is seeking a gifted and passionate Children's Pastor/Director to lead and develop our ministry to children and their families.
The Children's Pastor is a key ministry leader who helps shape the next generation of disciples by investing in both children and those who influence them. This individual must have a deep love for children, a heart for families, and a passion for equipping volunteers and parents to disciple young people effectively.
As a catalyst for family ministry, the Children's Pastor will provide vision, leadership, and oversight for all children's ministries. They will recruit, train, support, and encourage Kids' Church volunteers while partnering closely with parents, recognizing that parents are the primary spiritual influencers in the lives of their children.
Northstar Church has summer intern positions available for 2026. The Summer Intern position will allow an individual to learn about Church Ministry and all that it entails, giving hands-on experience in youth ministry, children's ministry, or general church ministry. Through this internship, the individual will work with the Executive Assistant to tailor their own learning experience based on their interests and giftings. This internship will challenge any intern to grow spiritually, emotionally and physically whilst serving at Northstar Church. This internship is a full-time position, 35 hours/week for eight continuous weeks of service between May and August.
