"Then if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sins and restore their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14
As we prepare to come back into in person gatherings in the fall we want to fortify our church, our town and the ministry God would have for us this year by laying a foundation of prayer.
In the restarting of a new school calendar year, I want to call us as a church to be in prayer and to remember how powerful our prayers are. The prayers of the righteous are powerful and effective. Our prayers will powerfully make a difference in the outcomes of the year ahead.
Given recent Covid cases in Northern Health due to a prayer event in Alberta and our volunteer and registration processes are still getting into place, we think it wise at this time to redirect our prayer initiative to our Sunday service and to individual & LifeGroup bubble prayer times (see attachment) and to hold our prayer meeting on zoom.
It will be a new adventure for me, doing prayer over zoom, so come join me, and lets faithfully live out God’s good instructions to be people of prayer.
